The old one had given up, nearly sending me flying if I moved too suddenly. Wasn't sure if I should stick to the original type or go for upgrade. Ended up choosing these and they arrived on the same day. Installing them was a breeze. Now the chair glides over carpet like it's on ice, smoothness I didn't know I was missing. The best part? These wheels can handle way more weight than the old ones ever could. No more worrying about sudden cracks or unexpected chair acrobatics. I'm actually considering replacing all my office chair wheels with these. They're that good.

The experience of changing the old wheels was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Had to grab a flathead to wiggle old ones off a bit of a hassle but nothing too crazy. Slipping the first three replacements on was a breeze but the last two? Stubborn as mules. They only gave in after I took a seat and went for a short spin. On my thick carpet they're an improvement, though not a complete solution. I had my eye on those massive 3-inch wheels for that. But for now, a little nudge to align the wheels quick sit and I'm rolling towards my desk with ease. Would've been perfect if my office was on a hard surface.
